E.T.M. Envirotrends Natural Wood Balsam is 100% natural, made from organic substances such as aromatherapy-standard essential oils, which cleanse, protect, and lightly perfume your furniture. Jojoba oil forms the body of this natural balsam. This precious, costly oil is used in cosmetics for dry and problem skin. Although valued highly as an oil, jojoba is actually a liquid wax, known for its resistance to rancidity. Its chemical stability makes jojoba an ideal base for our wood balsam.
Most wood surfaces are varnished. Since wood changes with temperature and humidity, microscopic cracks soon form in the varnish, permitting water to enter. This moisture infiltrates the varnish and spreads, becoming a water spot, such as those left behind by cups on the table. E.T.M. Envirotrends Natural Wood Balsam's jojoba and essential oils fill even the tiniest cracks. Watermarks and fine scratches disappear. The balsam also dissolves even tough substances such as glue! Meanwhile, its essential oils lend a peaceful atmosphere to the room, dispersing tobacco and cooking odors.
For economy and ecology, E.T.M. Envirotrends Natural Wood Balsam surpasses all the other wood care products. Our wood balsam is entirely nontoxic and natural, containing no chemical agents. At the same time, it contains no added water, so that a single bottle lasts a long time. Other waterless cleansers contain potentially dangerous petrol-derived solvants, but E.T.M. Envirotrends Natural Wood Balsam is entirely natural.
Take a small amount of Natural Wood Balsam on a soft cloth. Shake additional drops of Natural Wood Balsam onto surface to be treated, then rub surface. For a deeper brilliance, polish with a dry cloth about two hours later. Since oils may affect wood’s colour, test an inconspicuous part before polishing light wood such as linden, silver birch or maple.
